Baker Al-Freihat is an Energy Optimization Engineer and the technical lead of Orenda. In this capacity, he leads the data science team behind our energy optimization platform and supports on other internal engineering efforts. Prior to joining Orenda, he worked for Integrated Storage Technologies where he led the data science and software teams. Prior thereto, he worked at the Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO) in Jordan. Mr. Al-Freihat has an extensive educational background, which includes a MS in Electrical Engineering from New York University with a concentration in smart grids and power optimization and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan. He also studied Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics.

Olivier Brigaud is Executive Vice President and Chief Project Officer of Orenda. In this capacity, he is responsible for the execution of the project pipeline. Prior to joining Orenda, he was founder and President of iESS, a technical energy storage advisory, where he had a number of long-term mandates for some of the largest developers of energy storage in North America. Prior thereto, he was VP of Energy Storage Solutions at Saft, a French multinational that designs and manufactures batteries. Mr. Brigaud has an extensive educational background at top higher education institutions in France, including a PhD in Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University (UPMC), a graduate degree in Business and Government Administration from Ecole des Mines de Paris, and undergraduate degrees from École Normale Supérieure.

Bill Grinstead is President and Chief Executive Officer of Orenda. Prior to founding Orenda, he gained extensive experience in both the public and private financial markets researching and advising on various technologies, including renewables. He previously worked at Marlin Equity Partners, a $7B tech-focused private equity firm, as well as Susquehanna International Group, a global technology, and trading firm. Mr. Grinstead earned a B.S. in Finance from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He also studied Sustainable Finance and Real Estate Investing at Harvard University.
